system ideal for most film projects. |

| The
Cinecorder
NX uses a specialized miniature computer housing modified for the requirements
of video assist. Even though it's small in size it is no lightweight in
terms of features. The system can be fitted with the fastest Pentium
III processors and enough storage to record 45 hours of video assist footage.*
The system is available either as a standalone computer or housed inside
this rugged convenient transport-case. All Cinecorders feature
hard-wired BNC video connectors and audio connectors.
The
Cinecorder NX runs on standard AC power but can be equipped with a specialized
internal Dual-DC power supply to use the system with 12 V lead-acid gell-cell
batteries. Or, if you are connected to both AC and a battery at the
same time, the battery will instantly take-over if AC is lost. This
is much better than using a standard uninterruptible power supply because
the system can work indefinitely on your batteries.
The
Cinecorder NX holds two internal Harddrives, one for the operating system
and one for video storage. Equipped with a 25 GB IDE-Harddisc the standard
system can hold up to ~12 hours of video (and up to 16 hours with the optional
37.5gb hard drive).
*Configurations
with the DC supply allow you to use up to four internal hard drives, or
three internals and one removable cartridge drive. |
